How You Can Share Hope This May

Mother’s Day is a meaningful time to recognize the women who have poured into our lives.

Take a moment to encourage a mom, grandmother, or mentor—whether through a handwritten note, a phone call, or simply telling her how much she’s appreciated.

You could also honor a mother by giving to, praying for, or starting a fundraiser for a cause she cares about, helping extend her impact to someone in need. Start a FundraiserSupport a Fundraiser

God Calls & Praise Reports

Jamie shared a sweet praise report: her puppy, Princess, has fully recovered from surgery, with all expenses covered. She’s grateful for God’s provision, even in the small details.

We connected with Kayla, who is healing after a liver transplant, recently moved into a new home, and is now a certified peer counselor after overcoming addiction. She’s trusting God to use her story to bring hope to others.

We prayed with Rob as he battles cancer. Despite the pain, he’s filled with hope and peace, trusting God and desiring to glorify Christ through his story.

We prayed with Michelle, whose 8-year-old son Judah just completed his final round of chemotherapy—praise God! After a long 2.5-year journey, Judah is in a season of healing, and their family continues to trust the Lord, who has been faithful every step of the way.

When Nations Rage, Look to Jesus

by Rene (GiveSendGo’s Hope Team Manager)

Nothing is a surprise to God. The unfolding events we witness—the wars, the suffering, the chaos—are not outside His knowledge or His divine plan. Scripture reassures us that God remains in control, and He is acutely aware of every detail of our lives and the world around us. As we read in Isaiah 46:10 (NIV), â€śI make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come.” God has foreseen every conflict and every trial, and His sovereignty prevails amidst the turmoil.

In Matthew 24:8, we find Jesus illustrating the trials we face today as “the beginning of birth pains.” This imagery serves as a reminder that the suffering we encounter in this world is part of a larger narrative, a divine orchestration leading to His promised return. While we may experience discomfort and grief, it’s vital to understand that these are signs of the times we live in and indeed fulfill God’s predictions.

Let us remember that amid the war and strife surrounding us, God remains sovereign, His Word is steadfast, and our hope is anchored in Christ. It’s through this faith that we can find the courage to face the storms of life, not with fear, but with unwavering hope. Let our hearts remain steadfast, our eyes focused on Jesus, and our spirits nourished by Scripture as we journey through these challenging times together, remembering that this place is not our home.Read More…

Did You Know?

Even Jesus made time to step away and pray, especially in the busiest seasons of His ministry.

In Mark 1:35, we’re told, â€śAnd rising very early in the morning, while it was still dark, he departed and went out to a desolate place, and there he prayed.”

Amid crowds, needs, and constant demands, Jesus intentionally paused to be with His Father. It’s a powerful reminder that prayer isn’t something we fit in when life slows down, it’s what sustains us in the middle of it.

If Jesus needed that time of connection, how much more do we?
When we step away to pray, we’re not falling behind. We’re being refilled, strengthened, and anchored in the One who leads us forward.

Shine Brightly!
