56 Days of Silence.
Here is why…

Hey Family,

It has been 56 days.
Longer than I planned. Longer than I intended.

I could have come back with something polished, something safe, something that made it seem like I never left.

But that would not be honest.

These past 56 days have felt much less like progress and much more like a wilderness.

There have been health battles in my home that I did not see coming.

An unexpected uprooting that shifted everything.

And in the middle of it all, I have felt stretched beyond what is comfortable or controllable.

I keep thinking about how God moves in specific timeframes throughout Scripture.

Fifty-two days, and the wall was rebuilt.
Forty days in the wilderness, where everything is tested.

But we rarely talk about what those days actually feel like when you are in them.

They do not feel powerful in the moment.

They feel slow.
Uncertain.
Heavy.

And if I am honest, God has been teaching me something I thought I already understood:

Long suffering.

Not just patience.
Not simply waiting.

But a deep, Spirit-produced endurance that holds onto God even when nothing seems to be changing.

Longsuffering is remaining rooted when life feels unresolved.

It is trusting God without a timeline.

It is continuing to believe He is good, even when the season is not.

I am still walking through it.

Still learning how to lean on Him instead of trying to make sense of everything.

But I know this: God has not left.

Not in the silence.
Not in the stretching.
Not in these 56 days.

And if you have been in your own kind of wilderness lately, you are not alone.

Thank you for staying with me.

I do not take that lightly.

I am leaning on God now more than ever, and I am grateful that you are here walking through this with me.

URGENT: Help save a Swift nesting site

PROTECT THE WILD

MAY 12READ IN APP

A long-established swift nesting site is at risk and we urgently need your help.

At the Pound Road (Banstead) swift colony, a newly installed flue pipe has been positioned directly in front of an active swift nesting entrance, blocking access to a site these incredible birds have reportedly used successfully for many years.

This issue was identified and raised by the brilliant local conservation group Banstead Swifts, whose dedicated volunteers have worked tirelessly to monitor, protect, and advocate for swifts in the area. Without groups like Banstead Swifts, many nesting sites – and the birds that depend on them —- would simply go unnoticed and unprotected.

Swifts are one of Britain’s fastest declining birds.

They travel thousands of miles from Africa every year to return to the exact same nesting sites – only to increasingly find them gone, blocked, or destroyed. The loss of nesting spaces is one of the main reasons their populations are collapsing across the UK.

And now it is happening again.

Banstead Swifts said on Sunday they saw a Swift collide with the pipe, fall, then return and try to access the nest between the pipe and brickwork. They’ve seen no nest entries since.

What makes this especially frustrating is that this situation appears entirely avoidable.

The flue pipe could reportedly be repositioned relatively easily, restoring access to the nest and protecting this important breeding site.

Sign the petition

We are urging Raven Housing Trust to act immediately and demonstrate genuine commitment to wildlife protection and biodiversity by moving the flue pipe before this nesting site is lost.

Please take a moment to sign our petition to Raven Housing Trust politely and respectfully asking them to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Every nesting site matters. Every pair matters. And if we continue allowing sites like this to disappear, we will continue watching swifts vanish from our skies.

Thank you for standing up for swifts.

Defender,

A better world for wildlife doesn’t just happen – it needs to be created by dedicated and compassionate wildlife advocates like you!

We’re so glad to have you on our side. These are tough times for the animals you and I love, but we can keep them safe by working together.

By joining Defenders, you are part of a movement that is saving vulnerable species in many ways:

• Winning key legal battles for wildlife in courts across the nation, such as our victory as lead plaintiff in a lawsuit to restore federal Endangered Species Act protections for gray wolves across much of the U.S.
• Defending over 10 million acres of habitat for wildlife, including crucial habitat for imperiled polar bears in Alaska!
• Activating our network of passionate wildlife advocates to stand up for the animals who need us most, like protecting manatees in danger of starvation in Florida.
• Empowering our team of highly knowledgeable biologists, lawyers, legal experts and advocates to continue a legacy of leadership in wildlife conservation that spans over 75 years!

As Defenders’ Vice President of Field Conservation, I have the privilege of working with our amazing team of dedicated field staff on the front lines of wildlife protection. I know they share my gratitude for your compassion and commitment.

I look forward to sharing stories of the victories you’re making possible on behalf of wildlife for years to come.

With my thanks,

Shawn Cantrell

U.S. Dollar at Risk; You Must Prepare for the Reset Now…

Dear Concerned American,

Right now, a major event is unfolding halfway around the world, and it is going to hit your wallet harder than you can imagine.

President Trump has just ordered a military blockade of the Strait of Hormuz. This is a tiny strip of water but it’s one of the world’s most important “choke points” for oil.

By stopping ships from moving Iranian oil, the U.S. is playing a high-stakes game of poker with China and Russia.

Even former Biden officials admit this is a “hardline” move. While it might force enemies to the table, it also puts a target on the global economy.

Here is the scary truth: When oil stops moving, prices don’t just “go up.” They explode. And when the world’s energy supply is at risk, the U.S. dollar is at risk too.

The ‘American Reset’ Has Already Begun

While you are busy living your life, Washington insiders and foreign governments are preparing for a shift that could wipe out decades of American wealth.

Even worse, China and Russia are already building a new financial system to bypass the U.S. dollar. They are waiting for us to stumble, and this blockade could be the final push.

This coming crisis won’t arrive with a siren…

It will arrive as “temporary problems” — like higher grocery bills and gas prices  — that simply never go away.

But there is a way to protect what you’ve spent a lifetime building.

Wealthy investors like Warren Buffett don’t panic during these times — they prepare. They know how to position themselves so that when others lose everything, they emerge stronger.

You worked too hard for 40, 60, or 80 years to let a global oil war or a debt crisis take it all away. You need a plan that understands global unrest and, more importantly, how to profit from it.

That’s why we created Trump’s Profit Protection Plan. This step-by-step strategy is designed to help you protect your savings and find stable income, no matter what happens around the world.

The coming days will determine the future of our economy.

Will you be a victim of the reset, or will you be prepared to thrive?
